Professional & Education:
Andy Dopheide was born in Omaha, Nebraska. The youngest of four siblings, Andy followed his brother Mike to Boys Town in 1980, graduating in 1988. After Boys Town, Andy attended the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1992), Creighton University (J.D. 1995), and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (MBA 2006). He serves as Vice President, Assistant Secretary, and General Counsel of Construction for Babcock Power, Inc., a provider of equipment and services to the power industry. Prior to joining Babcock Power, Andy was in-house counsel for three global engineering and construction firms in Omaha and Kansas City. Early in his career Andy also worked as a county prosecutor in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and legal aid attorney in Dubuque, Iowa.

Andy has served as Treasurer of the Boys Town Alumni Scholarship Fund, and Vice President and Treasurer of The Sanfilippo Syndrome Medical Research Foundation.

Family & Personal:
Andy and his wife Rebecca have been married for 30 years and have three daughters. They are members of Church of the Ascension Parish in Overland Park, Kansas, and attend iCare special needs ministry masses at Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish. Andy enjoys reading, camping, caring for his daughter Julia, and Notre Dame football.
