Professional & Education:
Elizabeth Sondag earned her Bachelor of Arts in Politics with minors in Philosophy and Theology and a Pastoral Ministry Certificate in May of 2007 from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She later attended Franciscan University of Steubenville where she completed her graduate studies in theology followed by receiving her Licentiate in Canon Law in May of 2016 from The Catholic University of America. In May of 2025, she earned her MBA from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Elizabeth has worked for the Archdiocese of Omaha since October of 2016 where she currently serves as Vice Chancellor, Director of Pastoral Planning, and Tribunal Judge. She was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Father Flanagan League Society of Devotion in February of 2018. Currently Administrator of the Father Edward J. Flanagan cause for sainthood.
Community and Philanthropy:
Elizabeth volunteers with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Peter’s Parish. Additionally, she is a member of the Canon Law Society of America and has served on its Laity Committee.
Faith & Ministry:
Elizabeth is a member of the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation, an International Catholic Movement. Over the years, she has taught religious education at several parishes and assisted with RCIA as well.
